Archer was fined, staying in the third Test, Cricketix

England pace bowler Joffra Archer survived with a large fine. He was dropped from the team for violating hygiene rules. However, he does not have to stay out of the team for long. He is returning to the team in the third Test, the English Cricket Board (ECB) said.

Archer broke the rules after the loss to the West Indies in Southampton. According to the hygiene rules, no one can go outside the party hotel during the series. However, Archer broke the rules and went to meet his girlfriend in Brighton. Upon learning of the matter the next day, he was immediately dropped from the squad for the 2nd Test. The ECB took the matter as a serious crime. Ashley Giles, general manager of the ECB, feared that Archer's behavior could lead to a catastrophe.

He said the board had lost billions of pounds in the incident. Archer was instructed to remain in isolation after being dropped from the team. The hearing of the charges against him has already taken place. The hearing was held in the presence of an ECB director, an official of the Professional Cricketers' Association and Archer's agent. It called for a reduction in Archer's sentence, considering his good past record, confession and unintentional offense. As a result, the ECB decided to fine the 25-year-old cricketer and issue a formal warning. The ECB did not say exactly how much money was fined. However, according to the English media, Archer has been fined 15,000 pounds for the match fee of the 2nd Test, which is about 16 lakh Bangladeshi rupees. According to the hearing, there is no obstacle for Archer to play in the 3rd Test. However, according to the rules, he has to prove himself negative by testing the corona twice. In the meantime, Archer has done a test once, the result of which is negative. Archer will do the second test on Monday.
